Hey all...here is a logistics question that I thought maybe ya'll could help me with. I scheduled my UMich and UChicago interview dates about three days apart (I am flying in from California). Does anyone know the best/cheapest way to get from Chicago to Ann Arbor? Planes, trains, automobiles? Actually I won't have a car so scratch that last one...anyhow...the help is much appreciated!

My friend took the train from chicago to ann arbor. I could get details if you'd like.

If you can rent a car, that would be better (if you are flying in and out of chicago.)

As far as planes go, I've never heard of anyone flying there from chicago.

I used to run between those cities quite often. Before I could drive I took Amtrak (there is a station 1 mile from U of M's camups). You may want to look into a flight, tho. There are about a gozillion flights per day btw. Detroit and Chicago. You have to get to the airport from AA, tho, and that is about a 40 minute drive/taxi ride.
