Hey guys,

I was wondering if these work? I hear they do in many cases for med school....but haven't heard anything much for dental.

Also, is it bad to send one in, and then remove yourself from that school's waitlist (before they even decided to accept you)?

I got into Tufts, and figured it's almost my number 1...but it's already accepted me, and the deadline is coming up for the deposit....and I'd rather not pay more deposits and get the BU acceptance and lose a few grand.

a LOI is a very respectable form of communication, DEPENDING on how you use it.

Tufts is a great school. Be happy, send in your deposit and just go. Forget about top choice, 1st choice, 10th choice, just go, study hard and love the school for what it is and become a DENTIST.

I think that sending in a LOI saying you want to attend a particular school will prove you're REALLY interested. But also if you have accepted a spot telling the other schools you have decicded to go else where is appreciated

best of luck!
