LOMA LINDA acceptances/rejections after Dec. 1st

I was just wondering if anyone has been accepted or rejected from Loma Linda if they interviewed after the Dec. 1st deadline? I interviewed at Loma Linda on the 15th of Dec. and havent heard back from them either way. If anyone has some insight on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

the interview was very laided back.. i forget the name of the doctor that did the interview with me but he was the professor of anatomy for the dental school and med school.. it was pretty conversation like, he just wanted to get to know you.. you had to write a little essay beforehand.. there are something like 50 essays that they could potentially give you.. so i dont know what yours will be.. pretty straightforeword though..

i am going to call and ask tomorrow..

Does Loma Linda ask for anything related to religion in their supplementary app? i.e. church involvement, a LOR from pastor..

i interviewed at 2nd week of Nov. 05 and i still have not hear back yet. some people i knew interviewed at nov. still have not hear back too. My interview went very well tho.

oh really, so i guess i should stop worrying about hearing back soo soon.. they said that the adcom would meet in mid january.. i guess its just a waiting period..

have you called them or anything? and if you did, did they tell you about how long to expect until you hear from them?

ok so i called LLU today and ask about the status of my application becuase i have not hear back from them after my interveiw at Nov. The most she could tell me is that my file is ready to go to the committy, but she doesnt know when. but i also asked her to give me an estimate how full is the class and she said it's about 50% filled up already.

I got interviewed on Dec. 16. I received my acceptance letter this past Friday, Jan 20. Best of luck to you.

hey belle123. I'm 80% sure I'll end up attending LLU. I'm still waiting on word from UCLA. Here's my stats: GPA 3.86 science, 3.7 overall. DATs: AA-22, TS-24, PAT-22. Not sure what else you wanted. AADSAS mailed out my apps on Nov 3. hmmmm... Let me know if you needed more. I am SDA and I'm an alum of their PT school. Best of luck to you.

I got a letter. I don't know when they reviewed my file. I tried asking them a couple times but they said they can't give that information over the phone. I currently live in Montrose (Greater L.A.), near Burbank and Glendale.

I was interviewed on Jan 17th and my acceptance letter has a date on Jan 23rd. (I applied really late... My application was received in the middle of December)
Oh and the acceptance letter is thin skinny as well. I thought it was a rejection letter for 3 seconds.

I'm not SDA, and I was accepted. I intervied on Nov. 29th, and I got a letter of acceptance postmarked Dec. 13th.

The school really isn't like that. They have Muslims, Mormons, Christians, Buddhists and other faiths at the school. The faculty members are diverse as well. They really push for diversity. I don't think it is even close to as pushy as people think.
