Loma Linda Question

Hey guys,

I have an interview for Loma Linda in early March and I am very excited about it. Loma Linda is my number one choice because I live only 40 minutes away and I was raised SDA.

However, I am really worried. A week ago I was hanging out with some friends from back home that I had not seen since high school. We were all watching TV when someone started smoking marijuana. At the time I just told them I didn't smoke and was strongly against it, but after being in the room for a few hours with them, I started feeling kinda sick from all of the smoke. Later that day I heard you can get a "contact high" and get the marijuana into your system even if you don't smoke! I am very worried because LLU is my number once choice, but I have heard that they drug test. Does anyone know that if you are accepted into their program whether or not they drug test? If so, what kind of test? I am freaking out! I heard your hair can absorb chemical in the air and I am wondering if maybe my hair absorbed some. If anyone has any info please let me know I'm freaking out!

they don't drug test you during interview that's for sure, just don't hang out with them anymore in the future then u are fine.

Hi folk,

May i ask you one question?
When did you turn in your supplemental application? Are you a member of their religion?
I did turn in mine around early Dec 2009; they told me my application was complete and waiting if i'm qualified ,someone will call me to schedule interview. I dont know if they inform soon those who arent qualified?

Yes, I am a member of their religion. I turned my supplemental in late October. I'm sorry, I do not know when they will let you know when you get an interview. Good luck!

yes they started to drug test this year. And they actually do it a lot. We had testing done during finals week and immediately after christmas break. So... don't do that if you get it.
