Looking for good advice on improving CARS

CARS section is so hard for me. Sometimes the choices for some questions just look the same to me. And some Philosophy and psych passages are so hard to understand. I would appreciate any tips on studying CARS section.
Also, what does it mean to find the statement that is "assumed without support"? I have encountered this question a lot of times.
