Do Adcoms pay attention to who is writing the letter?

For example, my calc III class was taught by a grad student. Would his LoR be ignored or margialized as compared to that of a real professor?

Also, do fancy titles on the LoR authors impress the admissions committee? Eg: Director of Undergraduate Studies, or Dept Chairman, etc

yes schools consider who writes the letter. but not to the extent that i would go out of my way to get someone with a fancy title over someone =you had a more intimate relationship with. the grad student thing, i got a grad student to write one of my non science but i would err on the side of caution and get a phd for my bio letters.
