LOR from a dentist, could it be from a faculty member in dental school?

I have volunteered at students' clinic and will continue for two semesters. Could I obtain a letter from a faculty member at my school's dental schools, will it count as a letter from a dentist?

Yea that's a bonus if you want to go to that dental school. I shadowed a dentist who is faculty at the dental school of my choice, he wrote my LOR, and now I'm going to that school this upcoming fall. It helps!

Yes! A friend of mine did this and is now at that dental school as well
