Hey, how much does it help if you could get a LOR from dentisty who is a former admission committee?

i know one dentist who is a former admission committee of Columbia and Columbia is the one I really want to go.

It might help. If someone on here says that it won't, won't you still do it anyway?

Seriously...seems like a no brainer...especially since you don't mention any other option to compare it to. So compared to NOT getting a letter...yes, it is probably fairly helpful.

Kinda like asking how helpful it would be to get mostly A's in your science classes.

No, it would not help you at all. That's a terrible idea. It may even hurt you.
