So here's the deal:

I've been waitlisted to three schools (Georgetown, GW and OHSU) and am gathering letters of recommendation to send off along with a letter of intent to each. These schools already have 3 prof recs, 1 volunteer coordinator rec, and 1 MD rec.

I plan to send another MD letter to GW (from an alumni) and one from my current manager at the hospital. To Georgetown I'm sending an MD letter (not the alumni from GW but my medical director from my department) and the one from my manager. I'm not sending anything to OHSU as my application 'score' has already been finalized and it doesn't move after the committee meets.

My questions are...are two more letters of support enough for these waitlist schools...too much?

And...(most pressing question) I have an interview at Northwestern coming up in February. They never got the original MD letter and told me I could bring it with me and hand it to the dean during the interview. Should I also bring these new updated letters (bringing the total letters at NU up to 7)? Or will it be seen as kissass overkill? I should tell you that my stats are slightly below the average matriculant there, and it's my absolute number one choice.

Thanks guys,

I don't think you should do more than this though, in terms of LORs. 2 extra is more than sufficient.

Thanks. I'll keep it to two.
