Hi everyone =)

I asked one of my letter writers to make 25 copies of my LOR to send to 25 schools. I know some schools have a waiver that I need to sign and send with it. What about the other schools? Do the schools just not care? Is there some sort of generic waiver that I can include with the letter?

Thanks.

😱 😱 Poor professor (or his secretary if he has one)

Why not use Interfolio.com, that way the professor just needs to send one letter.

My school already has a letter service, which I can't afford. 6 recs x 25 schools x 5d per rec. Do the math...

all schools want the confidentiality waiver. are you SURE the professor will do this for you? and are you sure the other LORs you get from your other professors will have time to do all this as well?

i am shocked that your school charges you that much money to send your letters to schools. 5-10 dollars per packet of letters makes more sense. Maybe you should do interfolio if its cheaper. And if you do make your profs do all this, I'd get them a hella nice gift for each of them.

are you sure that it isnt $5 per packet? thats the way it is at my school.

i asked one of my volunteer coordinators to print out 20 letters, sign them, put them in envelopes, self-address them, and sign across the back. it was a great gesture on her part, but she was very willing to do it after i explained that my school wont send letters from people who arent affiliated directly.

Yup, it's probably 5 dollars per packet. I thought it was 5 dollars per letter too for the longest time, till I actually sent some and was pleasantly surprised.

its free for me an An Yong. ahh good football and free LORs w00t w00t
