Should I ask my recommenders to write several copies the same letter addressed to different school OR should they write just one generic letter, send it to the grad school central processing (my school has one). If they write a generic letter, how should they address the letter. Thanks.

It should be a 'generic' letter. It should be addressed to the 'Committee on Admissions' or something like that. Having professors write letters to each individual school is pretty burdensome.
