So, I already applied to MD schools and am in the process of applying to DO schools. I had 9 LOR's submitted to Interfolio and it turns out that 7/9 of them have my AAMC and AMCAS ID numbers in the actual letter. Considering that the AACOMAS application cycle is well on its way and that it took several of my professors and physician mentors nearly a month to submit their letters to Interfolio, asking for a revision and resubmission could take a long while.
Would it be absolutely terrible if I forwarded the letters with the AMCAS/AAMC IDs to AACOMAS? I know that if I were on the DO AdCom, I'd be salty about that. But is this going to significantly lower my chances of acceptance? I like to think I'm an above average applicant (cGPA 3.6, sGPA, 3.5, MCAT 509). However, I have no DO physician LOR's and I'm a Canadian citizen/resident...
So basically: to send or not to send, that is the question.
