Los Angeles-Clinical research positions for a PhD

Hey folks,

I will be defending my PhD thesis (Neuroscience) at the end of March, and I am looking for a position in a clinical research group. My experience is in basic laboratory research and I am looking for a PhD level position that would provide the opportunity to transition from basic science to clinical science. I would like to continue in the Neuro field, but I am not certain about what types of positions exist for PhDs. My committment would be for 1 year, since I am applying to Med school this summer.

Any advice or suggestions?
