By Monday of next week, I have two tests in biochem and anatomy, a 10+ page term paper, and a huge anatomy lab practical. And right after that finals start and I have yet another 7-10 page term paper to write. :( I wish I could just fast-forward to christmas break...

Three papers due a week from Tues, which normally would not be a problem, but I have an interview at Emory and am going to hang out with one of my old high school buddies who is working in ATL. That consumes my Thursday-Sunday . . . what's the word I'm looking for . . . ? Oh yes, screwed.

I'm a little nervous. I didn't do much (read: any) homework on this break.
Now I have to focus... but then, got some bad news this afternoon: my great granddad, at the ripe age of 95, was hospitalized this morning, and they are keeping him alive via respirator--not expecting him to live through the day. Good man, lived a full life, still has his bride of 75 years (who is 94) by his side this entire time, so it's not sad, really... eventually the body just quits of old age... but man oh man... getting through these next few weeks will be ugly. Finals... Funerals... *sigh* stress!!!
