Hi!
I am applying to the Louisiana schools (LSU-NO, LSU-S, Tulane) and I am interested in the Rural Scholars programs at LSU-NO and Tulane. I definitely see myself living and working in a small town/rural area, no matter what I end up doing. Can anyone tell me their experiences with the programs? What kinds of people did you have your "community recommendations" from? That's the weird one for me, because I'm non-trad, not overly confident of my chances of getting in, and would feel a bit awkward asking for these recs and then not getting in (for whatever reason, it's just a lot easier for me asking for academic and work LORs)

I'm also unsure about committing to the 2 years of clinicals in Lafayette for LSU-NO? I think I'd like more flexibility in rotation selection and places, and I'd like to train at Charity also. Any input on those rotations?

Thanks! :)
