I can't believe there are people who scored so well....Well, actually I can but damn...

Stupid MCAT...25O and I studied my butt off for it.

I think I psyched myself out way too much and let it overtake me. I'll be retaking in August and hopefully, I will get a 30+....

Has anyone had that much improvement with retaking in August and then applying? How much does that REALLY delay your application?

I highly recommend the Examkrackers review books (if you haven't used them already). I got a 25M my first time too... it was sadness.. then I picked myself up, got a 30+, and now I'm headed to med school in the Fall. Keep the faith guys, and rock the August exam

Don't despair! If you are determined to go to med school retake the MCAT. It is a repeatable test you know.

I took the MCAT 3 times. I improved to a 30 - 11 PS, 11 BS, 8 VR O WR 😳 (Ok the VR is not so good and I will retake next year)

However, this is a DRASTIC improvement from my extremely embarrassing april 2003 score of 23 Q - 8 PS, 9 BS, 6 VR) and august 2000 score of 20 O 😳 - 8 PS, 8 BS, 4 VR.

I used Examkrackers and read each chapter twice, took notes the second time and took lots of practice tests. I did not study for verbal. I will fix this next year and use Examkrackers 101 passages. And I will make sure to kick the guy next to me who distracted me on verbal this year. But mostly it was my fault for not studying for verbal.
