Apparently, Loyola's honors program doesn't include much of anything relating to science or math. it's pretty much all literature and history. and it doesn't offer a weighted GPA.

so is it worth it to waste my time working on a harder schedule that doesn't even include biology-related courses? should I just go for the better GPA in regular coursework?

Go for the better GPA. My school has a similar program and I decided not to do it because it just required more History/Literature courses also.
