Hey guys...I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not most schools have a place for you to keep your luggage during the interview day...for instance, if you are catching a flight out immediately afterwards??? If not...what does everyone do? Thanks!

Most places understand this and will let you stow your stuff in the admissions office.

Just haul it in to the interviewing room. If they ask, say it's got your resume and other items in support of your application.

"Let's see here... Uhh... Fruit of the loom. Colgate..."

Should not be a problem. Of course, try to keep your luggage to a min since you will have to take it with you. But, these interviews if they are anything like mine, are very laid back type of day and only two hours of the day are actually spent in a room being interviewed.

Best of luck on your interviews, and you might want to just give the secretary a call before and make sure its okay.

There is nothing wrong with asking the office staff if there is somewhere you can put your things. At one of my interviews the secretary volunteered to put it under her desk until I was done. They really understand these things.

Yup. When I was at Houston I had a flight RIGHT after my last interview. I had one small carry-on and just stuck it up by the side of the interview room--they were very nice about it. This happened at 2-3 other interviews at well. As others have said, just keep the size to a minimum--rushing to the airport/train station/cab w/a gargantuan carry-on and a sweat-soaked suit isn't the best thing for nerves (or airport security) 🙂
