My aunt was just diagnosed with lung cancer with lymph node metastasis. We do not know the stage or extent of the metastasis. We also are not sure whether this is the primary tumor.

Could someone recommend some biochemistry and molecular biology literature on potential treatments? I am a biochemistry student, so I am accustomed to reading dense scientific papers. Thank you for the help.

1. Perhaps you can ask the oncologist (or pulmonologist or whoever your primary physician is) for relevant literature?

2. You can also check out Robbins Pathology for a good med school level overview of lung cancer in general. From there if you like you can do your own research like via PubMed.

3. That said, I'm not sure if this forum is appropriate for medical advice, albeit indirect, if that's what you're getting at?
