Hey guys,
I am thinking about a career change with medicine in mind and was thinking about my chances. My background is a B.S in biotechnology from UC Davis with a GPA of 2.7. I worked for 3 years after that in the biotech/pharma industry and then got my M.Sc. in molecular biology at San Diego State Univ. with a GPA of 3.8. Now I am working for another biotech company currently. I have no volunteer experience of any type of hospital experience. I can obtain good recommendations from PhDs, M.D.s, etc. What are my chances of getting into med. school?? Preferably somewhere on the West coast. Your input is appreciated.
