A fictional example was given with the following details

patient complains of testicular, abdominal, and pelvic floor pain in general. Pain is extremely evident during intercourse. patient complains pain at the incision site.

history- patient has a suprapubic catheter installed temporarily prior to another surgery and has been in pain ever since despite removal of the catheter. patient has the catheter in for a month.

my hypothesis-
scar tissue formed around the tubing creating a tract between the body exterior and the bladder. this causes pain with movement in that region, testicilar pain, and general pelvic floor pain.

i suggest exploratory lap with possible lysis of adhesions due to the scar tissue.
