You hear and hear about HMOs and m. care but I never realized what it was actually all about.
Is it possible for physicians to work without being associated with HMOs? What would the consecuences be? Is there any specialty which is/will be more affected than others? Is the AMA doing something to protect the medical field from these guys? Sorry if I sound naive but this is all new to me.
