Hey all. This is a post to gather your opinions on the direction of the medical system in North America.
I am sure everyone would agree there is a already a high number of doctors in the managed care system (perhaps someone can post a %)
Apparently this is worse for specialists, as their costly services are being restricted. This also would result in a reduction in autonomy of doctors and probably poorer patient care.
Since this trend wil surely increase, can I receive some comments on your opinons on a) why this is good/bad,
b) should this be a reason I should consider dental school (though I would prefer medical but am strongly opposed to the idea of losing autonomy)
