Yeah, it's a good feeling to be confident in myself again. I went for way tooooo long doubting myself and my intentions. Finally, I got a little redemption. My ego is no longer collasped. It's a bit more on the inflated side...😀 . No, but seriously, I do have to say that I strongly believe things are meant to happen for a reason. And if they aren't, it's still a great thing to believe in because it just helps you cope.
Yes, talk about coming from a no-name school. I think last I checked, my undergrad institution (Northern Arizona University--no, i didn't live in the heat....it SNOWED in Flagstaff) was ranked to be in the 4th tier. It's the 3rd state school in Arizona. Most people only know about ASU and UofA. Not a NAU. There's a joke about NAU standing for Not A University. I chose to attend this school because it was an awesome college town and I was so dang close to so many cool things: Grand Canyon, Sedona, Oak Creek (okay enough AZ propaganda).
So poop on the people who say you'll have trouble getting into a school because of your undergrad. It might hold you back from getting attention from some of the bigger name schools, but the schools that do pay attention are the ones that are worth pursuing anyway.
