Hello everyone! I thought I was set on attending MUCOM until I got off the waitlist at CCOM. Now I'm having a very tough time deciding between the two. I feel like I could go either way and be happy at both so I was hoping I could get your opinions. Any help is appreciated!

MUCOM
Pros:
-cheaper: tuition is ~20k cheaper than CCOM
-I like the way the curriculum is set up better
-new facilities, sim lab and anatomy lab were great
-all the professors seemed very friendly and easy to approach

Cons:
-newer school
-less established than CCOM
-further away from home (3 hr drive vs 45 min at CCOM)

CCOM:
Pros:
-established school with rotations in Chicago
-close to family (they'd be ~45 mins away)
-a lot of residency matches in Chicago
-more research opportunities available

Cons:
-very expensive! (Would cost me ~26k more per year)
-frequent exams

Summary: Is it worth spending 104k extra to be closer to family and attend a school that is more established?

Thanks for your help!

I ended up going with MUCOM because I couldn't justify taking out that much more in loans. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about my decision.

CCOM miles better - I'd prob still bite even though that much more expensive

Indy would be cool though...
