Hey guys,
Does anyone know how getting married can affected your eligibility for a Stafford Loan. I will be starting Pharmacy school (Professional school according to Stafford) in Fall 06. I'd like to get married sometime after my first year in Pharm. school... will getting married and reporting family income prevent me from taking out the full Stafford, which I believe is 31K?
I'm a little worried- my boyfriend/future husband 🙂 and I will NOT be financially able to pay for my tuition etc.!!!

Stafford loans are not income dependent. The total amount is limited by the Stafford annual limit and the cost of attendance.

Thank you!
Would you happen to know if the annual limit is different depending on which school you go to? Or, is the limit the same but the school determines your max borrowable depending on their determined cost of attendance. Sorry for all the questions! I'm a little clueless!

The maximum limit is the lower of the loan limit set by the governmet or the cost of attendance set by the school.
