Marriage status affect HPSP?

I'm a second year dental student with HPSP. I recently just got married. I wonder if my change of marriage status would affect my schalorship at all, benefits or losses? And I assume I should inform the Navy.

You do need to inform the Navy and get your spouse enrolled in DEERS so that she is eligible for benefits.

DEERS is one thing, SGLI (life insurance), next of kin notification, etc. You should do it asap. If something really should happen to you before you get the paperwork done, she really may not get any benefits at all.
