Has anyone heard from maryland or UCSF? I got notice of received application from all other schools except these two. Anyone know anything about it?

My apps went out on 7/6, I haven't heard from either (I applied to both). I called UCSF a week back regarding my DAT score and they returned the call yesterday...so you can call them up if you're just dying to know. They will not pick up the phone but they will call you back in a few days!
I am guessing they are just taking their sweet time or going to start reviewing later.
