I'm at the end of the second cycle of applying and I'm on two wait lists. I know it's too late to apply to some of the post-bacc programs available. I have a choice, move for a year and get a Masters of Arts; or stay at my current location and just take upper division biology courses as a non-degree seeking student. I have a family that I don't want to move when we will probably move again in a year. In either case I'll (probably) be reapplying again this June. However, I am curious as to how much dental schools might appreciate a Masters as opposed to more upper division bio credits. In the end I'd probably end up taking the same amount of bio credits in either case, one would just give me another worthless piece of paper (in my opinion they're all worthless until the DMD/DDS). I'll attach a poll for easy voting.
