Matching into Peds with COMLEX only

I'm a pretty average student and am wondering if I need to take the USMLE to match into Peds or if the COMLEX will work just fine?

If you are looking at competitive residencies or a residency in particular that requires the USMLE, then yes. But if you are just looking for peds, comlex only is fine.

Depends, as the poster above stated, are you aiming for BCM, Vanderbilt, Cincy Childrens or trying to match a lower tier university or community peds program? The former will require good Step scores.
