matching outside of eras for anesthesiology

for those of you who have garnered spots outside the match, how did you do it? write letters? send a resume? i am a fairly competitive categorical medicine intern looking to switch. best

The Brigham just called me to offer me a spot outside of the match. I asked them if they would consider signing me out of the match. If your interested in switching out there are a few programs that save a few spots for transfers. Brigham has a few transfer residents. UPenn saves about 1/3 of their positions open for transfer residents. Hope this helps.
