Depends on what you mean by math. I absolutely love calculus and differential equations and linear algebra, and I'm good at it, but I sometimes forget my multiplication tables ...and I'm not so hot at geometry either
personal opinion - math's gotta be done from the foundation up. eg: till you truly master precalc, full calc is gonna be a bit of a problem...
math's good training for the mind, i think. have a look at the mcat stats on aamc.org by major. on average math majors do pretty darn well.
well anyway, most things are tough, unless you keep at it. imagine how tough babies think walking is, doesn't stop them from trying eh?
