MCAT 2014 in my Soph Summer? Good Idea?

Is is a good idea to take it my Soph Year in the summer?

I am a freshman and will have taken:

Chem 1 & 2
Bio 1 & 2

During the summer I will be taking: Physics 1 and OChem 1

Then soph year:

Physics 2 and OChem 2
Human Phys and Bio Chem

Then take a Kaplan Course and bang out the MCATs.

Sound like a good idea?

I'm going to try to fit in research and what not during the school year.
I will just have to hold off on neuroscience courses and working towards my neuro degree.
And most importantly, I don't think I will be able to take the SURF program sophomore summer.

OR, should I just take the 2015 MCAT? I am a sociology minor so that's a plus, but it would just be more work/time and less study material for me.

Whatever you decide, both options are fine.

As long as you have your prerequisites complete and study appropriately, it won't matter.

Most people at my school take MCAT as soon as they finish pre-reqs, which is usually sophomore year.
