Hey guys,

I'm having trouble compiling a school list for the upcoming cycle. Can you help me out?
Here are some of my stats:

MCAT: 35
sGPA: 3.9
Resident: Georgia
Research: 500+ hours, 2 presentations

EC:
Nonclinical volunteering ~ 120 hours
Clinical volunteering ~ 50 hours
Shadowing ~ 50 hours

Here is what I have so far:

MCG
Emory
UVA
Duke
UAB
Wake Forest
UNC
UCF
U of Miami

Any suggestions for additions are appreciated. Thanks!

I'm applying to northeastern schools myself, so I just happen to know more about these schools, but here's some you may consider:

Temple
Drexel
Jefferson
BUMC
Tufts
VCU
Albert Einstein
Pittsburgh (more of a reach)
Cornell (more of a reach)
Brown

Good luck!

brah, add more reach schools. keep that list and the second one listed by xerei as you are. it's fine. but add a few more reach schools and i think you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)

I'm OP (lost pw, made new account). Thanks so much for the feedback! What do you suggest as reach schools? (Like Northwestern, Mayo, Mt Sinai..?) I can't help but feel like the chances of acceptance are ridiculously low at those schools.

Well, that's why they're called 'reach schools,' lol.

Find out a place you'd like to be! Wantto be in chicago? try northwestern.

Mayo...mmm...its minnesota...in the middle of nowhere.

Mt sinai wouldbe nice if you wanan go to NYC!

Don't underrate yourself OP. Tbh, if you take a gap year and get 200+ clinical, 200+ non clinical, maybe mor research, and another 75 hours of shadowing, you'd have a good shot at a lot of top schools. Your choice though.
