Looking for feedback/suggestions on my school list and chances. I'm concerned about my ECs, which I feel are pretty subpar.

CA resident, Asian
School: UCSD
Major: Chem
Year: First gap year
cGPA, sGPA: 3.93
MCAT: 523 (132/129/131/131)

ECs
Medical Assistant (ongoing)- 1000 hours at small private practice
Research - 650 hours, manuscript but no publication
Clinical Volunteering - 110 hours at hospital
Nonclinical volunteering - 80 hours tutoring underprivileged kids
Shadowing - 150 hours, PCPs
Leadership - peer mentor, IM basketball captain??

Your application will be helped by having more service to others. As such I have replaced University of Chicago with Washington University.

you are fine, I do not believe you will have any problems. You could add a few schools but I do not believe it will make any difference at this point given your GPA and MCAT situation it is really just a numbers game on the part of the medical schools and whether they think they can get you to their school or not.
