For those of you taking the MCAT in a few weeks...don't sweat it, I am a *******, and with a 28 I was able to weezle my way into 5 MD acceptances....so don;t think it is the most important part of your app, because it is not.

No, you are wrong! MCAT IS important!!! I think it is the application as a whole that is important. One can compensate one low thing for another. For ex. if one has a low gpa, compensate with a high mcat score and make sure other stuff in ur app. is fine. I don't know the real reason why you were accepted, but you should have instead posted, " MCAT wasn't the main factor that got me in med school. I had other stuff going for me such as great gpa, great EC's, great LORs, interview, etc".

You said it, not I. The MCAT is very important. More important than your GPA which took most of us 4, 5 or more years to earn. It's good that you got in, but 28 isn't really a bad score. 30+ is always good though.

Hey thanks for posting your deal with the 28. I think everyone should get off your case and thank you for trying to calm everyone down that is stressing out. It is very reassuring
