i dont think im memorizing anything....
i just see particular reactions so many times that they become engrained and I know what should happen next and just how it happens.

EK O Chem book. Learn it.

Improving the O.chem performance is the easiest way to improve the bio score, and the easiest way not get your target score. IMO, O.chem passages are simply free points in the bio section. What ever you do, don't neglect it.

I'll second that. I got really fed up with kaplans organic review and ordered the EK o chem book and love it. 100 pages of review and it doesn't go overboard. money well spent
EDIT: additionally, the EK book is up to date. Things like alkene chemistry that have been removed from MCAT material are still included but the book notes that they won't be tested on. not so with kaplan...
