It is not possible for you to apply for the Class of 2006.

No, you cannot apply for fall 2006 if you still need to take the MCAT. You can get advice about studying for the MCAT in the MCAT study questions subforum. Look at the VR Explanations thread. Best of :luck: to you.

There is a logical progression it goes Med Pre-Reqs --> MCAT --> AMCAS --> Secondaries --> Interview --> Acceptance...learn the central dogma, study it religiously and whatever you do don't try and do **** out of order.

What about MCAT > AMCAS > secondaries > interviews > acceptance > Pre-req's?

Don't crush my hopes!

You've got to be kidding me.

You must take the MCAT ONE YEAR PRIOR to matriculation.

It can be done if you have an MCAT score previous to 2006. Unfortutanely, at this moment (althought it is supposed to change) the MCAT is only offered twice a year. In my opinion, this is just another effort of the powers that be to keep the numbers down. Total abuse of power...but as it stand no school will accept you for the entering class of 2006 if you have not take the MCAT prior to 2006. Contact the schools and find out - Best regards!

To the OP - buy a book called the MSAR - it will answer all your questions regarding the application process. To help with reading, consider subscribing to the Atlantic, New Republic, The Economist, or some other such magazine. Good Luck!

I apologize before I say it, but...if I use reverse pre-medase can I do them backwards?

Oh, sorry for the confusion. I took the August MCAT and did the AMCAS thing. I'm now in the interview process, and trying to take the med pre-req's. Sort of a short crash course approach, hopefully it works out. 🙂
