Do any of you current med students know if residency programs can get their hands on your mcat score and/or undergrad GPAs? I've searched far and wide on sdn for posts about this, but haven't had any luck.
I fear that if I decide to apply to the very competitive surgical subspecialties, these numbers will show their ugly faces again and put me at a disadvantage. I mean, they're definitely not bad numbers, but every bit counts.
I know that it's not asked in ERAS, but is this information ever included on the medical school transcript?
I guess it would just make things more hopeful if I'm starting on a clean slate.
