MCAT prep material

hey guys
i have a friend who is selling me all this (see list below) for $500 ..she said she paid like $2000 for all of this..

so my question is..is it worth paying $500 for all of this stuff listed below? Thanks, I appreciate input from you guys!!

Well, the Kaplan materials you have listed are available really only through their classes, which cost $1,600. I'm sure the Princeton Review materials are similar. The AAMC tests probably cost around $280 if you were to go buy them. So, in terms of getting a good deal (so long as the books and tests don't have all the questions answered already) then yes, it's a good deal (hec, it's a GREAT deal). But think about why on earth you need all of those materials? I paid for the Kaplan course and certainly didn't use hardly any of those topical/section/subject tests. I think you're better off buying one set of books and then paying for the AAMC full-lengths, since those most closely mirror the actual exam. It would be a waste if you paid for all of those things and then never got around to using any of it.

All of these materials are proprietary and belong to the test prep company, not your friend. (In other words, you friend does not have the legal right to sell his or her test prep course materials to you, and Kaplan or TPR can actually take legal action against students who do this.)
