Hey everyone,

My question is, when should someone take the MCAT? What college courses should be completed before attempting the test? I know physics, organic chemistry, general biology, and writing courses should all be completed, but what about more advanced bio courses like biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics? Is there any math on the test? Thanks.

Just the math you run into in your physics, chemistry, and biology courses. Take a look at practice MCAT tests. You'll quickly realize there is no way you can study all the material that will be in the MCAT passages. You just need to know the basics of the aforementioned topics (BCP) so you can understand the language of the topics. Practice your reading comprehension, that will help you more than anything else.
