This is my third time retaking the MCAT, my scores are not competitive. The first time I scored a 17, my verbal score was horrible it was a 2. However, I was sick that day. My august score was a 23, with verbal score of 6. My question is, how to M.D or D.O schools deal with a student that has taken the MCAT three times, do they just average the scores, or do they take the highest score???

some take the highest score, some take the lastest score, and others will take the average.

Does most M.D or D.O take the Highest score ???

I think more of them take the most recent rather than the highest. But they'll look at all of them. it's always bad to have a "negative" trend.

For the most part, my other scores of increase from, however, B.S has remain the same, and my verbal has increase. So I don't think I have a negative trend, but what do you think???

I think if you worked out the kinks in your grammar, your overall score should increase dramatically.

A 23 is somewhat competitive for many DO programs. Before taking it, again, decide if you have done, what you need to do to continue improving your score. Taking it a third time & not doing any better is not impressive.
Good Luck,
