After a weekend of forcing myself through Kaplan's overly verbose texts on Physics and Chem, I'm beginning to realize that being a visual/kinesthetic learner might make studying on my own difficult. 🙁 Anybody know of study manuals that have more pictures or less block-like text than Kaplan?

The EK books are definitely less verbose than Kaplan. If you need a COMPLETE review of everything, though, EK might seem too brief. I haven't seen the Berkeley texts, but from reading the posts it seems as though people like those as well.
