Hey, I'm starting to study for my mcat and would like to apply to mstp programs for the 2014/2015 cycles. I'm aiming for a may 31st test dates with 3 weeks to spare from finals, which is around may 6-7th to study. Then I get my score back in late june and may decide to see if I can retake in august.
My other plan is to take it in mid-late June, and see if I can take a year (3-4 months) to study for MCAT, and reapply for the 2015/2016 cycle. the thing that worries me the most is that the new mcat comes out at spring 2015, and I was wondering if my scores in the late 2014 session will be accepted by med school for the 2015/2016 application cycle??
Obviously, I'd like to knock the mcat out in late may if possible, (i'm aiming for 34-36 range). What is the best course of action to take here? Thanks
