How do our MCAt scores get transferred to amcas? Do they match it up with SS#'s, etc? Do we have to do anything? Were we suppose to choose a specific username?

don't know how it happens, but the scores will magically appear in the proper spot on your amcas application, when they release them

Usually, MCAT and AMCAS just coordinate together, but I would doublecheck anyway. I had a nightmare getting my MCAT scores on to my application just to complete my AMCAS app.

When I submitted my AMCAS application last July, for some reason, even though I took the MCAT in April and had released my scores during test day, my test scores didn't appear on my AMCAS application. I thought it was just a weird glitch at the time and didn't think about it again until UPitt sent me a letter at the end of August informing me that I had never took the MCAT before and could not apply to medschool.

AMCAS didn't fix the mistake until almost the end of October.

If you suspect anything wrong, hunt AMCAS down.

I have sent in my application a week ago and my application currently says that I haven't taken MCAT yet even though I clearly marked it on the application. Should I call them and straighten things out or is it usual? Thanks!

Well, under biographic info are we supposed to enter that code for the MCAT or anything like that?
