How are the Verbal passages on the MCAT?
Are they all understandable/readable like the EK book?
Or are some passages confusing/weird that make no sense?
Are the questions reasonable or confusing or vague?
Thanks

I took it yesterday, and I feel like there might have been one that was a bit hard to follow, but overall I thought it seemed easier than the EK passage questions. Of course, I don't actually know what I got, but I felt more comfortable with a lot of my answers.

I never got better than 51/60 on the EK tests, but on the 3 aamc practices I did, I got 36/40 on all of them, so take that for what it's worth.

So the passages were a lot easier to follow on the real MCAT?
And the questions were too?

are the real passages longer or shorter or about the same length than the EK 101 passages?

some passages are confusing others are weird that make no sense.
Some questions are reasonable others are confusing or vague.

It changes every test.

What's the biggest advice to tackling the most challenging/confusing Verbal passages?

treat them like any other passage, answer what you can as quickly as possible, make your best guess on the ones you're not sure about (and eliminate definitely wrong answers), mark them, and move on. don't spend too much time on anything so you have around 10 minutes when you're done to come back and review the ones you've marked in more detail.
