liking the examkrackers book a lot.

i got two tips: 1) pray every night 2)go to ur school libary and pick up journals that u would never read and read them for 2 hours a day at least until the exam. good luck and dont panic the last few minutes of the veral section. every point counts. GOOD LUCK!!!

definitly pray, but also get the AMCAS MCAT material. U can get hem from their web site. Good luck.

Exam Krackers all the way. Verbal stratergy is straight forward and effective. Book is cheap too cost like $12-15. Anyway check out their site http://www.examkrackers.com , they have some good info.

Are the ExamCraker books sold in stores or do you have to order them online?
I too, am going through hell again just because of verbal.

Thats kind of weird that you are left handed (I think so by your quote) and having trouble with the verbal section. I too am left handed and all of my life I have always had trouble with those kinds of reading comprehension things. I score really high on most tests I take, but the reading comprehension scores usually come out bad. I read something a while back that said that although left handers only make up 10% of the population in the US, they make up over 50% of the remedial reading classes in the nation. Its not because they are stupid or anything, in fact they tend to score higher then average on other straight forward tests. Its just the reading that seems to be a problem. Strange phenomenon, I wonder why.

examkrackers verbal worked for me. been scoring very high on AAMC with their strategies.

KRACKERS buy it. www.examkrackers.com

IT has helped me a lot.

buy it from www.bn.com or check www.booksamillion.com they have the cheapest prices.

much love to all those who have posted. and man, i got to get to work. i'm a freekin bum.

and dr. dad, i'm not left-handed. my bad. i was making a reference to an episode of the simspons when mr. burns said, "my kingdom for a left-handed can-opener." so for the misleadin quote.

Well that scraps that theory. Back to the drawing board!

what are the exam krackers method for verbal...i really dont want to buy the book...yeah i know im cheap....

saimabean,

the lessons are really brief. you can get through the book in like 15 minutes if you tried (without doing the practice problems). maybe you can find a bookstore that has it and can take a look while in the bookstore. although i haven't seen a bookstore with a physical store that carries it.

if you get the isbn # of the book you can have a local barnes and noble or borders and have them order it. you can look through it at the bookstore without having to purchase it

i still have my verbal examkracker book. if anyone wants it, ur welcome to have it.

It's all about speed. I found that the technique that helped me the most was to scan the questions before reading the passage, it saved a lot of time.

bubgump: sorry, another sdner PM me for it. he already came by and got it. good luck!
