So, I keep hearing all this talk about how people who have like 3.96 and getting not so good MCAT scores. I'm wondering what schools you all are doing your undergrad at and what your majors are. Do med schools look at the GPA and what school you go to or look at just the GPA and MCAT score? It's weird because I go to UC Davis, and not that it's like the hardest school ever, but I have to admit, i've taken it straight up the pooper a few times with grading <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> . I have a 3.56 and that's from having no life at all. Would I have had a better advantage if I went to a state school and had a higher GPA?? (I'm not trying to say that state schools are easier, but in california, a lot of them are) Thanks a lot
