can someone link me to a definition of the writing scores? like what they mean relative to each other? thanks!

I'm not sure what you're asking, but J is the lowest score and T is the higest score you can get.
 
i guess a breakdown of how good each score is? what letter corresponds to what numerical score?

The Official Guide to the MCAT has a graph showing the approximate percentile rank for each letter score based on 2008 applicants' scores. According to the graph, O is 49%, P is 60%, Q is 81%, R is 93%, S is 99% and T is 100%. Hope that helps!! :)
