Has anyone interviewed at Med. College of Ohio?
Give up the low down! and is it worth going if I've already been accepted waitlisted elsewhere?

MCO was a lot nicer than I thought it would be. It had a good atmosphere and they seem concentrated on teaching. I was accepted, but I'm not sure if I will go there or another Ohio school. I'm waiting on all of the financial aid, but it is worth looking at.

It was plesantly surprising. Biggest downfall of MCO (and I told them this) - there is no Starbucks in the entire town!!!😱

well they waitlisted me, so oh well. But it was nice. but it all depends on where you got in???

I was VERY impressed with MCO. They definitely sell the "family" atmosphere and seems like a great environment for learning. I think personal reasons will prevent me from relocating to Toledo in lieu of more local options - but there's no doubt I would enjoy it there.

I'm interviewing at MCO next week. Does anyone know their avg. MCATs and GPA's? I've heard great things about the school and look forward to visiting next week.

Here is the class profile of the 2002 entering class:

Average total GPA: 3.6
Average Science GPA: 3.5

MCATs
Verbal: 9.5
Physical Science: 9.6
Biological Science: 10

The school is surprisingly nice and very student-oriented. Toledo is small, posing very little distractions. Faculty is very nice. I had the best and most low stress interviews there among the 10 I had. Enjoy!
